CDC Don Quixote de la Mancha

2009 Azteca Gelding

Don Quixote’s magical facial markings might draw your eye first, but when you look more closely, you’ll see plenty to keep you captivated! This Half-Andalusian colt is by Armani LFA, the sizzling black Pure Spanish Andalusian Stallion whose show records stand testament to his royal lineage. He is athletic and personable and remarkably easy to teach. As a half-Andalusian / half-Quarter Horse, he is eligible for registration as an Azteca, the national horse of Mexico.

On his dam’s side, he carries incredible working cowhorse / reining lines from the AQHA world, with Nic Remedy and Reminic as sire and grandsire, respectively.

In 2019, Don Quixote has been making his mark in the Working Equitation arena with trainer Rochelle O’Connor aboard, riding for owner Victor Melendrez, Oregon.
