CDC Besita

2012 Half-Andalusian Mare

We’ve been so impressed with this combination as we’ve watched CDC Don Quixote de La Mancha grow up, that we decided to try again. And, boy, are we glad we did! Besita (“Little Kiss”) has been a heart-stealer from the moment she was born. Quite a bit taller than her full brother as a weanling, she has the same brilliant bay color and incredibly balanced conformation. She is athletic and personable and remarkably easy to teach. As a half-Andalusian / half-Quarter Horse, Besita is eligible for registration as an Azteca, the national horse of Mexico.

On her dam’s side, she carries incredible working cowhorse / reining lines from the AQHA world, with Nic Remedy and Reminic as sire and grandsire, respectively.

In 2018, Besita began her competition career with owner Heather Humelbaugh. The two captured the WE United 2018 National #1 High Point Half-Andalusian honors in Working Equitation and are continuing to do well in the sport.
